WFO Announces the World Foundry Summit 2025 in Chantilly

From October 2–3, 2025, global leaders in the castings industry will gather in Chantilly, France, for the World Foundry Summit, hosted by the World Foundry Organization (WFO) in cooperation with the Association Technique de Fonderie (ATF). This exclusive event brings together senior executives, CEOs, company owners, and key decision-makers from foundries and the specialist supply chain to discuss the strategic future of the cast metals sector.

The two-day summit promises high-level presentations and panel discussions featuring internationally recognized experts and influential industry figures. Delegates will gain insight into global economic and technological trends, with a strong focus on strategy, innovation, and policy shaping the future of the foundry industry.

Key topics will include the strategic outlook of global OEMs, the impact of Artificial Intelligence on foundry processes, data analytics in production environments, nearshoring developments, and the implications of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), among others.

More than 100 high-level participants are expected to attend, offering excellent opportunities for knowledge exchange, networking, and international collaboration in both formal and social settings.

Leading companies and institutions such as Jaguar Land Rover, Samsung, Lestercast, Norican Group, Grede Foundries, the University of Southern California, DESMI, and the Polish Foundry Chamber of Commerce are set to share their views and strategies with an international audience.
