Trennex looks back on an extremely successful participation in this year's CHINA DIECASTING in Shanghai in July. The trade fair once again proved to be one of the most important platforms for the international die casting industry, offering numerous high-quality contacts and intensive discussions with a highly qualified specialist audience.
It was particularly impressive to see how clearly the current technological developments in China were reflected at the fair. As expected, gigacasting dominated many discussions, while magnesium die casting in various forms also attracted great interest. These developments are particularly important for Trennex, as they combine existing European experience in magnesium casting with new requirements for structural components.
Working closely with its development department and on-site technicians, the company is developing solutions for unprecedented requirements and large components. Thanks to its good market access and many years of experience with large-format castings, Trennex was able to support the first applications at an early stage and thus take advantage of the opportunities offered by this dynamically growing market.
At the same time, the further development of the technology remains challenging, especially in the area of conflicting requirements of different materials and component geometries.
