“This will be the biggest event the Indian foundry industry has ever seen,” says Subodh Panchal, the well-known and highly respected chief organizer. And he may well be right: India’s economy – and with it the entire foundry sector – is on the verge of profound transformation. Investments, modernization, and new opportunities are paving the way for growth. At the same time, international machinery manufacturers and service providers are discovering a huge market. The message is clear: without automation, digitalization, and expertise, the future will not be possible.
The IFEX 2026 – 22nd International Exhibition on Foundry Technology, Equipment, Supplies and Services will take place from 12–14 February 2026 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC), NESCO, Goregaon, Mumbai. Running in parallel are the Cast India Expo and the 74th Indian Foundry Congress (IFC). The event is organized by the Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF), with its experienced team led by Subodh Panchal, Past President and Chairman of IFEX 2026. The 74th IFC will be chaired by Amish Panchal, also a Past President of the IIF.
With more than 13,000 square meters of exhibition space, around 400 international exhibitors, and over 30,000 expected professional visitors, IFEX 2026 will be the largest and most important platform for India’s foundry industry and its global partners. The exhibition covers the entire spectrum of foundry technology – from raw and auxiliary materials, melting furnaces, molding and coremaking, sand preparation and reclamation, to die-casting machines, fettling and deburring systems, heat treatment, measuring and testing technology, automation, robotics, environmental technology, and machining solutions.
The 74th Indian Foundry Congress, running alongside, will feature a high-level technical program. Key topics include sustainability and “Green Casting”, foundry 3D technologies, new materials and processes, digitalization, the popular Aluconf sessions, as well as forward-looking discussions under the banner of “Bharat Foundry Vision 2047.” The program will also include buyer-seller meetings, the innovative “Melt Match” format, mentoring opportunities, plant visits, and engaging discussion forums such as the “Circle of Legends – Foundry Women.”
Under the motto “Gateway of Global Foundry Industry,” IFEX 2026 in Mumbai positions itself as a central international hub for business development, technology transfer, and networking. It is where India’s momentum meets global innovation.
