The Tooling Division of Godrej Enterprises Group and its partners hosted the Diecast Summit 2025 in Mumbai on August 19, 2025. Organized in collaboration with global technology partners Voestalpine, Oskar Frech Group, Magma, and Kraemer & Grebe, the event aimed to shed light on the future of die casting technology.

More than 100 representatives from various organizations, including Honda, Mahindra, Tata Motors, Endurance Technologies, Super Auto India, Sound Castings Private Limited, Uno Minda, Spark Minda, and industry associations, attended the summit.


Understanding customer needs

The summit's theme was “Understanding the future needs of customers.” The focus was on promoting innovation, building expertise for complex structural castings, preparing for aerospace applications, and creating a resilient ecosystem for end-to-end solutions. Discussions covered advanced simulation techniques, modern die casting equipment, high-quality steel molds, and international best practices in mold design.

Pankaj Abhyankar, Head of Tooling at Godrej Enterprises Group, emphasized the importance of joint efforts to ensure agility, reliability, precision, and adaptability while shortening production lead times.

Inspiring discussions with participants from the foundry, automotive, and aerospace industries highlighted the importance of collaboration across the entire value chain. Only together can we create a faster, more precise, and globally competitive die casting industry.
