Company anniversary at the BMW Group plant in Landshut – Honouring 40 years of service

At the BMW Group’s Landshut site, long-serving employees were honoured for 40 years of service. The jubilarians, who began their careers with the company in 1985, were congratulated and received a badge of honour as a sign of appreciation. Each was thanked for their commitment and outstanding achievements over the past four decades.

Those celebrated were: Harald Böhmer, Josef Ehrmaier, Jürgen Hillebrand, Rudolf Hofstetter, Johann Lurz, Roman Märkl, Stephan Mederer, Janette Memminger, Thomas Pöppl, Michael Vasas and Karl-Heinz Vilser.

The site employs around 3,700 people who produce a wide range of components – from light alloy castings for engines, chassis and body structures to electrical and electronic parts, plastic exterior components, carbon fibre body elements, cockpit systems, engines and drive shafts.
