The 36,000-square-meter addition was launched in 2023 with support from Iowa’s High Quality Jobs Program, designed to help companies offset costs for new facilities, expansions, and modernization projects. The expansion nearly doubles Clow Valve’s production capacity, replaces outdated equipment, introduces advanced automation, enhances sustainability, and improves safety and ergonomics for employees.

“This expansion represents a shared vision of growth and innovation in Iowa,” said Mark Willett, Vice President and General Manager of Clow Valve. “It underscores our commitment to Oskaloosa and to continuing our role as a leading U.S. manufacturer of waterworks products and hydrants.”

Founded in 1878, Clow Valve employs more than 450 people, with an annual payroll exceeding $43 million and an estimated $150 million annual economic impact on the region.

Project partners included general contractor EC&S and Diversified Pattern and Engineering Company.
